Partnership expands affordable access and opportunities to the sport
Monterey, Calif. – Youth on Course – the nonprofit organization providing youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf has established a new partnership with the Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) as it continues its expansion throughout the state.
Youth on Course members currently have access to over 50 golf courses in Florida where they can play for $5 or less. With more than 670 public courses in the state, continued growth is essential to ensuring golf is accessible for all. By eliminating financial barriers, Youth on Course and FSGA make it possible for more young people to enjoy the game of golf, develop leadership skills, and gain valuable relationships and experiences.
“We are proud to partner with the Florida State Golf Association, one of the country's largest allied golf associations,” said Youth on Course CEO Adam Heieck. “This initiative dramatically increases access for junior golfers in Florida and forges new pathways to play more golf. Together, we will continue cultivating a passion for golf by ensuring that cost is not a barrier to the life-changing opportunities this sport offers.”
The FSGA, which includes more than 800 member clubs and 338,000 individual members, is dedicated to promoting golf and supporting its growth at all levels.

Founded in Monterey in 2006, Youth on Course began with only six golf courses in Northern California. Since then, the organization has experienced remarkable growth over its eighteen-year evolution, becoming a vital force for positive change within the golf community. Youth on Course now has nearly 200,000 members who can play golf for $5 or less at more than 2,000 courses throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia.
Beyond affordable access, Youth on Course launched an Alumni Network earlier this year, connecting over 75,000 young adults nationwide who share a connection with golf. For $20 per year, Alumni can access exclusive benefits and opportunities valued at over $500 through the Youth on Course mobile app, including complimentary subscriptions to NBC Sports Next's GolfPass and Peacock streaming, discounts on renowned golf brands like TaylorMade Golf and LinkSoul and exclusive app access to ParPoints.

About Florida State Golf Association
The Florida State Golf Association (FSGA) was formed in 1913 to promote, protect, and preserve the game of golf. The FSGA includes more than 800 member clubs and 338,000 individual members.
The FSGA is a volunteer organization made up of 500 volunteers who serve as tournament officials and course rating experts, and who assist junior and amateur golf in their local areas. We conduct more than 550 tournament days each year, including over 40 state championships, and over 45 days of USGA qualifying events, as well as perform more course ratings each year than any other organization in the country.
The Association provides college scholarships, and in conjunction with the Florida Golf License Plate Fund, provides more than $700,000 in grants per year for First Tee programs and local junior golf programs. Our partnership with the USGA-GHIN handicap service makes up the largest handicapping organization in the country.
