One-week, twelve-course fundraising journey starting on “The Pony Express Highway” begins July 24 to expand youth access to golf
Monterey, Calif. – Youth on Course – the nonprofit organization providing youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf, and Textron E-Z-GO LLC, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company and a leading designer and manufacturer of golf cars and utility vehicles, announced that Youth on Course Board Member Brandon Ebert will embark on a first-of-its-kind fundraiser golfing across Kansas to help remove financial barriers and expand golf access for youth nationwide.Beginning July 24, Brandon Ebert will drive E-Z-GO Liberty vehicles 400+ miles from East to West across Kansas along Route 36, designated as the start of “The Pony Express Highway”, connecting 12 golf courses and playing 117 holes along the route. Ebert will engage golf facilities, junior golfers and local communities along the route to raise awareness and a fundraising goal of $25,000 for Youth on Course.
A Kansas native, entrepreneur and lifelong golfer, Ebert joined the Youth on Course Board of Directors in 2025 as a passionate advocate for growing the game. Ebert is the Managing Partner of Be Wealth, a self-founded financial services firm managing more than $850 million in assets, and co-founder of ParPoints Golf, an innovative scoring platform now played in all 50 states. As a father of two boys, Ebert believes every kid should have the opportunity to experience the lessons, friendships, mentorship and pathways to future success golf can provide.
"Sports have shaped so much of my life, and every young person deserves the opportunity to experience everything the game of golf can teach,” said Brandon Ebert, Board Member of Youth on Course. “Golfing across my home state with E-Z-GO cars is a fun way to get people talking about what Youth on Course makes possible, one round of golf at a time."
Every dollar raised will help Youth on Course continue to provide rounds of golf for $5 or less, while supporting college scholarships, internships, and career opportunities that empower young people both on and off the course. Today, the organization serves more than 430,000 members and has helped youth play more than 5 million subsidized rounds of golf. Through partnerships with more than 2,300 golf courses, the organization is building a more accessible and inclusive future for the game while using golf as a platform to help young people develop skills that last a lifetime.

"Brandon has been an incredible advocate for Youth on Course since joining our Board, and his commitment to the mission is reflected in his fundraising journey across Kansas," said Adam Heieck, CEO of Youth on Course. "We are grateful to E-Z-GO for helping make this ambitious fundraiser possible and to the golf courses in Kansas that will welcome Brandon along the way. Brandon is bringing communities together around a shared belief that every young person deserves the chance to play and grow through golf, regardless of financial circumstances."
Starting in White Cloud near the Missouri/Kansas border and concluding in St. Francis near the Colorado border, Ebert's route will include the following golf courses:
- Hiawatha Country Club - Hiawatha
- Spring Creek Golf Course - Seneca
- Marysville Country Club - Marysville
