Access to rounds of golf for $5 or less
Youth ages 18 and under can join Youth on Course and pay just $5 (or less) per round of golf at nearly 2,000 participating courses and facilities throughout the U.S. and Canada. Each round is subsidized thanks to support from our generous donors and course partners.
Careers on Course
The Youth on Course Careers on Course program is designed to introduce young adults from diverse backgrounds to career opportunities in golf and develop important skills that help them socially, academically and in future employment.
Participants may work in a golf shop, be trained and work as a caddie, join the outside services team, work in food and beverage/catering, membership, marketing and more.
Applications for Summer of 2024 will open in January 2024.
The Youth on Course Scholarship Program gives high school seniors the chance to continue their success off the golf course. Need- and merit-based scholarships offer a path to higher education that might otherwise be out of reach.
Since the inception of our scholarship program in 2008, we’ve had the honor of awarding over $2.6 million to more than 300 outstanding high school seniors to support their pursuit of higher education. For many of these students, they became the first person in their family to attend college.
Applications for 2024 are open and are due Friday, January 12, 2024.
We created DRIVE Club in partnership with TaylorMade to identify, foster and support diverse young golfers on their journey with the game, and to allow Youth on Course members to share their expertise and experiences with their peers. DRIVE Club members volunteer to lead groups of young beginner golfers on their first round of golf using a green-to-tee approach. In return, they receive service hours, mentorship, complimentary rounds of golf throughout the summer, TaylorMade swag and opportunities to earn clubs, equipment, apparel and more.
Note: DRIVE Club is open to active YOC members ages 12 to 18.
The Youth on Course Leadership Council
Gain valuable leadership experience by joining the Youth on Course Leadership Council, a group of highly motivated YOC members who work together to increase YOC's impact across the country.
It’s a great opportunity for YOC members who are in 8th through 12th grade to get more involved with a nationwide organization, strengthen their communication and leadership skills, and make an impact. The Leadership Council also provides a channel for YOC members to have a voice in matters that affect them.
