Youth on Course is proud to partner with the Western Pennsylvania Golf Association to provide local youth with life-changing opportunities through golf. The partnership with the WPGA marks the 62nd such arrangement with an Allied Golf Association or national governing body for the Monterey, CA based non-profit.
Members will have access to subsidized rounds of golf at local facilities while also becoming eligible to participate in career opportunities through Youth on Course’s internship and college scholarship program. Youth in western Pennsylvania can become members of Youth on Course at youthoncourse.org/join.
“We are thrilled to see our partnership with Western Pennsylvania Golf Association come to fruition”, says Adam Heieck, CEO for Youth on Course. “Together, we’ll give youth in western Pennsylvania access to even more opportunities and a growing community to help them thrive on and off the course.”
Through this partnership, a number of area courses will be accessible to Youth on Course members immediately including, 3 Lakes Golf Course in Pittsburgh and Riverside Golf Course in Cambridge Springs.
“We are very happy to partner with Youth on Course and look forward to this opportunity to grow the game in the region”, says Terry Teasdale, Executive Director for WPGA. “This outreach effort on both of our parts will strengthen the community and to start to serve our future membership.”
