Youth on Course is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Sullivan Country Golf Club, located in Liberty, New York and a member of the Metropolitan Golf Association. The partnership provides Youth on Course members the opportunity to play a unique “Golden Age” 9-hole course in the Catskills for $5 a round anytime on weekdays. Sullivan County becomes the 2,037th course to join Youth on Course as a partner facility in what has been a record breaking year of growth.

The course is operated by Tom Coyne, a New York Times bestselling author, Senior Editor and podcast host at The Golfer’s Journal, who has been publishing golf stories since 2001. “Sullivan County GC is an ideal course for young and beginning golfers, so partnering with Youth on Course was an absolute no-brainer for us,” said Coyne. “As a public, nine-hole facility, it is a great place to work on your game in an environment that isn't stuffy, where young golfers can feel welcome any time of the day.”
Youth on Course members can enjoy the rich history of the nearly 100 year old course and soak in the breathtaking views. “Our holes wander up and across a gentle mountainside, through a valley with a trout stream running through it, then back up to the clubhouse from where you can see most of the course,” shared Coyne whose favorite hole is number 7. “On 7, you hit a blind tee shot on a long par four, and as you crest the hill to find your second shot, long views or the Catskill mountains reveal themselves.”
