Over 100 Youth on Course members and alumni stepped onto the pristine fairways of Old Greenwood Golf Course in Truckee, CA, for an unforgettable experience—caddying at the Barracuda Championship Pro-Am.
The Jack Nicklaus signature course set amongst 600 acres of towering pines just a few miles from Lake Tahoe, welcomed members as they had the rare chance to carry bags and support amateur players while walking alongside PGA TOUR pros including Max Homa, Joel Dahmen, Ben Silverman, and Cam Davis. For many, it was a dream come true to experience golf from inside the ropes.
From the first tee shot to the final putt, members gained valuable hands-on experience, assisting with everything from checking yardages with rangefinders and cleaning clubs to raking bunkers, fixing divots, and even reading greens. The day was full of learning moments, meaningful connections, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Now in its fifth year, Youth on Course’s partnership with the Barracuda Championship continues to provide young golfers with unique access to the game and moments that inspire a lifetime love of golf.
