More than 250,000 active members and over 100,000 alumni, Youth on Course is more than just affordable golf—it’s a growing community shaping the next generation on and off the course. Whether members are chasing championship dreams, collegiate golf or simply enjoying the game, Youth on Course opens doors to opportunity, growth, and lifelong connections. Members may age out at 19, but one thing remains infinite: the lifelong memories made on the course.
Meet Parker Bunn, a Youth on Course Alumni from Ogden Utah, whose journey began at just 9 years old. What started as a fun hobby quickly turned into a competitive pursuit when Parker entered his first golf tournament at age 10. He joined Youth on Course when he was 11 and since then, he’s been on an impressive journey of growth and achievement with over 100 rounds of golf played as a member.
One of Parker’s most unforgettable moments on the course? Shooting an incredible 59 at his home course—and Youth on Course, course partner—Schneiter’s Riverside Golf Course.
Parker shares, “Shooting a 59 there is something I’ll never forget. Youth on Course made it super fun and easy to play,” he says. “Having affordable access to local courses meant I could play and practice every day, and that’s been huge for me.”
Now a freshman at Oklahoma State University, Parker is majoring in Marketing while competing on one of the top college golf teams in the country. “Our team is playing really well this season,” Parker notes. “It’s amazing being around some of the top golfers in the country every day and pushing myself to be better.”
Looking ahead, Parker’s goals are set high. “I want to be an All-American for at least three out of my four years,” he says. For now, he’s aiming to shoot a round under 63 — a mark he’s determined to hit.
Ultimately, Parker has his sights set on the PGA TOUR. “If I stay disciplined and work hard, I will get on the PGA TOUR no doubt!” he says confidently.
Youth on Course plays a pivotal role in the journey of any junior golfer striving to take their game to the next level, and Parker’s story is a perfect example of that impact. As he continues to make moves at the collegiate level, we’re proud to support him—and excited to see where the game of golf leads him next.
