The Junior Girls Golf Grant Program began in 2002 as a commitment from the Pacific Women’s Golf Association (PWGA) to support junior girls in golf. Since then, the Women’s Golf Association of Northern California (WGANC) made a commitment of their own to a grants program and together with the NCGA and Youth on Course, the program has grown tremendously. More than $450,000 has been awarded through 2022. The program is now administered through Youth on Course (YOC) as part of the nonprofit's commitment to providing all youth with access to life-changing opportunities through golf.
Grants of up to $1,000 are made available to any Junior Girls Golf Programs within Northern California. Applications must be made online through the official Grant Application from March 1 through September 1.
The program is funded in part by donations from generous members and member clubs with funding up to $60,000 to be awarded in 2023 through Youth on Course. Donations to Youth on Course that support this program are tax deductible.
Applications will be accepted for the current Grant year beginning March 1 and accepted through September 1.
