Why Don’t Some Member App Accounts Have Access to GolfPass or GolfNow?

Access to GolfPass and GolfNow is limited to:

• Guardian app accounts

• Members aged 18 or older

Both platforms require users to be 18+. Due to privacy laws and age-based account requirements, junior member accounts (under 18) cannot access GolfPass Video or the GolfNow booking engine directly.

To keep these benefits available to families, a parent or guardian (18+) can:

1. Create a guardian app account

2. Link the junior’s membership

3. Redeem GolfPass

4. Use GolfNow on the junior’s behalf

Overview

If your member app (https://app.yocgolf.org/) does not show GolfPass or GolfNow, you are likely:

• Under 18

• Signed into a junior member account

The integration appears only in guardian app accounts and is available only to users aged 18+. A guardian can set up their account in minutes, link the junior, and then redeem and manage these benefits.

Why Youth on Course Handles It This Way

• Age-appropriate access: Aligns with privacy laws and platform age requirements.

• Simple account management: One guardian login allows redemption of GolfPass Video and use of GolfNow for a junior.

• Clear guidance: Prevents confusion at checkout or during tee-time booking.

How It Works

A) Create a Guardian App Account

(Required for GolfPass and GolfNow access)

1. Open the Youth on Course Member App: https://app.yocgolf.org/

2. Select “Youth on Course Member (Or Parent/Guardian)”

3. Select Create → “Guardian of a Member”

4. Validate membership details to link your junior(s)

5. Finish creating the guardian account

B) Redeem GolfPass and Enable GolfNow

(Guardian Account, 18+ Only)

1. In the guardian app, tap Learn

2. Tap Login/Create Account

3. If you already have a GolfPass account: Sign in

4. If you are new to GolfPass: Enter your information and create an account

5. Verify your email if prompted (check spam/junk)

6. When redirected to GolfPass, tap Accept to the GolfPass / Youth on Course terms

7. Tap Create Promo Code → then Redeem Promo Code

8. On the GolfPass site, enter your email and select Redeem

Your GolfPass Video access is now active. Use the same GolfPass login credentials when booking tee times through GolfNow where available.

Note:
Some Youth on Course facilities may prefer or require GolfNow bookings. Many others ask families to call the golf shop during listed Youth on Course availability in the Course Directory.

Helpful Tips

• Make sure you are signed into a guardian app account, not a junior account

• Email verification is common — check spam/junk folders

• Guardians can manage multiple juniors from one account using Link/Unlink Members in the app menu
