What is the DRIVE Club?
Golf is becoming more diverse, but Youth on Course believes the sport can evolve more rapidly by empowering young people to drive that change.
DRIVE Club is a Youth on Course leadership program that empowers active members ages 12–18 to introduce their peers to golf using a green‑to‑tee approach—new golfers play right away while members guide them on their first rounds. Guides receive complimentary rounds while volunteering, can earn community service hours, and get mentorship from golf industry professionals. New golfers are eligible for a trial Youth on Course membership with 5 complimentary rounds when playing with the inviting member. Applications reopen every spring. Overview
Golf is getting more diverse—and DRIVE Club speeds that progress by putting youth leaders in the driver’s seat. As a DRIVE Club member, you’ll guide beginners on course from day one, focusing on fun, friendship, and confidence. You don’t need perfect swing mechanics to lead; you need patience, positivity, and care.
