What do member statuses mean in the Clubhouse?

Member statuses in the Clubhouse help course partners confirm whether a golfer is active, expired, temporarily paused, or no longer eligible.

When a course partner searches for a Youth on Course member in the Clubhouse, the member’s status will appear in the search results or on the member card.

Common statuses include:

Active
The golfer has an active Youth on Course membership and may be eligible for Youth on Course benefits during the course’s posted availability and restrictions.

Expired
The golfer’s Youth on Course membership has expired. Course partners may still log and redeem subsidies for up to 2 rounds on an expired membership. This helps keep course partners compensated while giving the golfer a reminder to renew.

Temporarily Paused
The golfer’s membership is temporarily paused and may need follow-up before their next round. Temporarily paused members may receive a more extended grace period, as long as the pause is not related to failed Age Verification or a severe behavioral incident.

Most often, temporarily paused members have missed a required step, such as Age Verification. Course partners are encouraged to gently remind the member to contact membersupport@youthoncourse.org or resolve the issue before their next round.

Aged Out or Alumni Network Members
Members who have aged out of Youth on Course are no longer eligible for subsidized Youth on Course rounds and will not appear in Clubhouse search results. Youth on Course Alumni Network members also do not receive $5 Youth on Course rounds and will not appear in Clubhouse search results.

If a member cannot be found in the Clubhouse, confirm that the course partner is searching by the correct Youth on Course member number or GHIN/handicap number.
