How do I create or sign in to a GolfNow account to book a tee time?
Only Youth on Course Guardian accounts can book tee times in the Youth on Course app. At checkout, you’ll sign in with a GOLF ID account, which is the login GolfNow uses. GOLF ID is separate from your Youth on Course app account, and your Youth on Course email and password will not work. GolfNow accounts are only for adults 18 and older.
Who can book tee times in the Youth on Course app?
- Guardian accounts can book. A parent or guardian books with their own Guardian account in the Youth on Course app and their own GolfNow (GOLF ID) account.
- Member accounts cannot book. The Youth on Course member app can’t book tee times through GolfNow. Members can ask a parent or guardian to book for them.
- GolfNow accounts are for adults 18 and older. Members under 18 can’t create a GolfNow account.
What is GOLF ID?
GOLF ID (also called Golf Account) is a single sign-on system built by Golf Channel. One GOLF ID login works across several golf apps and sites, including GolfNow, Golf Channel, Golf Channel AmTour and Revolution Golf.
Is my GOLF ID the same as my Youth on Course account?
No. They are two separate accounts:
| Youth on Course Guardian account | GOLF ID (GolfNow) account | |
|---|---|---|
| Used for | Managing your member, membership and app features | Booking and paying for tee times through GolfNow |
| Run by | Youth on Course | Golf Channel |
| Login | Your Youth on Course email and password | Your GOLF ID email and password |
Signing in to the Youth on Course app does not sign you in to GolfNow. Even if you use the same email for both, each account has its own password and is managed separately.
When will I be asked to sign in to GOLF ID?
At checkout. After you choose a tee time and go to check out, a GOLF ID page opens inside the app at my.golfid.io and asks you to log in to Youth on Course.
How do I sign in if I already have a GolfNow or GOLF ID account?
- At checkout, enter the email and password you use for GolfNow, Golf Channel, Golf Channel AmTour or Revolution Golf.
- When you see Authorize YouthOnCourse?, check the box to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then tap Approve.
- You’ll go back to the Youth on Course app to finish checking out.
How do I create a new GOLF ID account?
- On the GOLF ID login screen at checkout, tap Create Account.
- Enter your details. You must be 18 or older.
- Verify your email. If GOLF ID can’t confirm your email automatically, you’ll see a Verify Your Email screen. Enter your email address and tap Verify Email. GOLF ID will send you an email with a link. Open it to confirm your address, then return to finish creating your account.
- Authorize Youth on Course. When you see Authorize YouthOnCourse?, check the box to agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, then tap Approve.
- You’ll go back to the Youth on Course app to finish checking out.
What does “Authorize YouthOnCourse?” mean?
It asks your permission for the Youth on Course app to access your GOLF ID account information so you can book tee times in the app. To continue, you must agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and tap Approve. If you tap Decline, you won’t be able to finish booking. You can manage this access later on your GOLF ID Preferences page.
