2025 was a year of milestones, breakthroughs, and unforgettable moments for Youth on Course. This year, we’re proud to spotlight our top 10 most active members, highest-played courses, and leading AGAs of 2025. The story is always best told by our members, whose growth, experiences, and memories show the real impact that Youth on Course makes.
Meet Darci Wagner, from Florida. Darci’s Youth on Course journey began close to home at Sandridge Golf Club, where the staff encouraged her family to join Youth on Course. She was just 8 years old when she played her first Youth on Course round but the impact has lasted far beyond those early days.
With affordable access to golf, Darci practiced often, played freely, and grew comfortable competing under pressure. One moment defined her 2025 season: an AJGA Qualifier at Sea Island Golf Club. After finishing tied for the final qualifying spot, she entered a playoff with four other golfers. On the second playoff hole, she drained a 30-foot birdie putt to secure her place, a moment she will never forget.
Beyond her success on the course, Darci credits Youth on Course with teaching her confidence, resilience, and life skills that extend well beyond the fairways. Those lessons ultimately helped open the door to a Division II golf scholarship at Flagler College, turning years of dedication into opportunity.
“Affordable golf access has made all the difference for me. Being able to play on incredible courses for 5 dollars or less is a huge opportunity. I can practice as much as I want without worrying about expensive green fees. Youth on Course is making an expensive sport more affordable and accessible and has also led to me receiving a college golf scholarship."
Preston Tolnar first heard about Youth on Course while competing at the U.S. Kids World Championship, but the program truly became part of his life when his home facility, Mill Creek Park Golf Course, joined the network. With three courses just minutes from home, including two Donald Ross–designed championship layouts, Mill Creek became more than a place to play, it became a second home. Affordable access allowed Preston to practice consistently, compete in top junior events, and spend meaningful time on the course with friends and family.
Youth on Course didn’t just make golf more affordable for Preston, it made growth possible. Playing more rounds sharpened his skills, boosted his confidence, and kept him mentally positive through the highs and lows of competitive golf. Off the course, the game has helped him develop discipline, integrity, and strong communication skills, qualities that carry into school, where he excels as a straight-A student.
"Youth on Course has assisted in my yearly junior golf goals as a competitive player and has kept me positive mentally on the golf course. It’s a great building block for hopefully one day turning in my passion as a college golfer and as a professional golfer. I've built new friendships across my city, state and region as most of my friends who golf are members as well."
Kiva Morcom joined Youth on Course at age 12 after learning about it through the IRGF. In 2025, her love for the game reached a new high with a hole-in-one, an unforgettable milestone.
But beyond that highlight, Youth on Course gave Kiva something even more meaningful: access to mentors, lasting friendships, and the chance to challenge himself in ways he never imagined.
“Youth on Course has given me the opportunity to play more, grow more, and continue building a love for the game.”
