The Northern California Golf Association (NCGA) supports, promotes, and governs golf in their region. We offer NorCal golfers of all ages and abilities hundreds of events, tournaments and outings, oversee the handicaps and Rules of Golf, provide exclusive golf discounts and operate two members courses - Poppy Hills and Poppy Ridge. We represent a diverse community of over 185,000 golfers - including over 35,000 Youth on Course members! We are committed to fostering a game that is vibrant, inclusive, and accessible to all.
Did you know that Youth on Course was created in 2006 by the NCGA as a regional initiative? It is now nationwide and beyond, serving more than 130,000 members in all 50 U.S. states and parts of Canada. A Youth on Course membership in Northern California includes an official USGA Handicap IndexⓇ and full NCGA membership. Also, all Youth on Course Alumni are eligible to join the special NCGA NEXT discounted membership from age 19-25 to continue all of their NCGA benefits.
