A New App, Enhanced Digital Cards, and the Launch of the Youth on Course Clubhouse

At Youth on Course, we often say it’s about more than just the rounds. It’s about the community we build together and the life-changing opportunities we provide to nearly 400,000 young people. None of this—the five million rounds played, the scholarships awarded, or the growth of the game—would be possible without you, our dedicated course partners.

As we look toward a busy 2026 season, we are thrilled to share several major updates designed to streamline the check-in process and enhance the way you manage your partnership with us.

A Fresh Look for Members
The New Youth on Course App

Today, March 24, 2026, we will officially release the new Youth on Course mobile app. This update isn’t just about a new look; it’s about providing you with more information at a glance.

The new app features an improved digital membership card. You’ll continue to be able to see a list of a member's completed achievements directly on their card—such as our "Course Ready" etiquette curriculum. We are grateful for your support with encouraging the completion of the curriculum to ensure every golfer has the foundation to be a respectful steward of your course.

Age Verification and Seamless Check-Ins

We are also currently in the rollout phase of our new age verification process. To make things easier for your staff, members who have successfully verified their age will now be clearly identified on their digital membership card. We will only be asking our older teenagers to verify their age. We welcome your feedback on this rollout.

What This Means For Your Team

• The Transition Period:
  • Over the next 6-8 weeks, you may see both the "old" and "new" versions of the membership card at check-in. Please continue to accept both versions during this time.
  • For the remainder of 2026, members 16 years old and older will be requested to verify their age.
• Full Adoption:
  • By June 1, 2026, we expect all members to update their apps to the new membership card format.
  • By January 1, 2027, all members 16 years old and older will be required to verify their age before they can utilize their membership. Members who join before their 16th birthday will be required to verify their age once they turn 16.

Welcome to the Clubhouse

In Q2 2026, we are taking a giant leap forward in how we support our partners. We are re-branding and completely refreshing the Course Portal, which will now be known as the Youth on Course Clubhouse.

The Clubhouse will be your one-stop shop for everything YOC. From checking in members and tracking your subsidy payments to accessing marketing resources and partnership tools, the Clubhouse is designed to be intuitive, fast, and helpful for your daily operations.
