A Club That Said Yes

Most truly private clubs don't host experiences like this. Colorado Golf Club did.

As Youth on Course celebrates its 20th anniversary, Colorado Golf Club welcomed 20 Youth on Course supporters for a 100 Hole Hike unlike any before it. On June 29, the group played 100 holes on the club's par-3 course. They stayed on property in the cottages and played the championship course the following day.

Colorado Golf Club hosts very few outings like this, which made it a rare, elevated experience for everyone involved. And it only happened because the entire club chose to be part of it.

Thank You, Colorado Golf Club

This experience wasn't something Colorado Golf Club had to do. It was something its people chose to do, and they did it with genuine warmth from start to finish.

To the board and golf committee, thank you for saying yes. To General Manager John Easterbrook and Director of Golf Graham Cliff, thank you for championing the vision. To Assistant Pro Mitch and the entire staff, thank you for making every detail feel personal. And to the membership, thank you for believing that sharing your club with a group raising money for kids was worth it.

$100,000 and 20,000 Rounds for Members

Thanks to that support, the Hikers raised more than $100,000 over three days in Denver. That's 20,000 rounds of golf for Youth on Course members, each one played for $5 or less.

In Colorado alone, more than 10,000 kids are Youth on Course members, and they'll play almost 50,000 rounds this year. Support like this keeps the game within reach for them.

As John Easterbrook, COO and GM of Colorado Golf Club put it: "You start to get top 100 clubs participating and all of a sudden it's a whole different ball game."

Thank you, Colorado Golf Club, for helping make 20,000 rounds of golf possible for kids.
