The 126 U.S. Amateur Championship is underway, and and Youth on Course is well represented at one of golf’s most prestigious amateur championships.

Of the 312 players competing this year, 100 are Youth on Course members, representing nearly one-third of the field. Together, these members have played an incredible 3,812 Youth on Course rounds, a testament to the access and opportunities that help young golfers build their games.

Among this year’s field are several Youth on Course members and alumni with impressive stories of their own, including 2026 U.S. Junior Amateur Champion Noah MacLauchlan and the following:

Niall Shiels Donegan is representing Scotland, but his connection to Youth on Course runs deep. Growing up in Northern California, Niall played more than 200 Youth on Course rounds before going on to compete at the highest levels of amateur golf. He returns to the U.S. Amateur after making a deep run to the quarterfinals in 2025.

Alumn Jimmy Abdo is also back after an impressive 2025 U.S. Amateur run that took him all the way to the quarterfinals. He’ll look to build on that momentum as he returns to the championship this year.

Hamilton Coleman, the 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur Champion, is another standout in this year’s field. After claiming the junior title last summer, Coleman continues to establish himself as one of the country’s top young amateur golfers.

And Luke Ringkamp entered this year’s championship following a breakout stretch that included a dominant nine-stroke victory at the 2025 Rolex Tournament of Champions, his first AJGA Invitational title.

Youth on Course members continue to prove that access can open the door to opportunity and opportunity can change the game. We’re proud to cheer on all 100 Youth on Course members competing in the 2026 U.S. Amateur!
