Internships

Youth on Course partners with golf courses to offer deserving high-school youth employment opportunities at no cost to the course. Here they learn valuable skills – like time management, customer service, teamwork, and professionalism.

The internship program is currently only available in Northern California, we hope to expand the program in the future.

Who are the interns?

Youth on Course interns are qualified yet underserved youth candidates between the ages of 14 and 18 from Northern California. They are all members of Youth on Course who were interviewed, selected, and then trained by the course. Interns are hired on as staff members of the course for the summer.

What do the interns do?

Youth on Course interns should be given a variety of responsibilities including showing staff, merchandising, working in outside services, agronomy and food and beverage. While interns can answer phones and file papers, it is very important that they get the opportunity to experience the industry in a more hands-on way.

How do we apply for a YOC Intern at our course?
