Youth on Course | Internships

Youth on Course partners with golf courses to offer deserving high-school youth employment opportunities at no cost to the course. Here they learn valuable skills – like time management, customer service, teamwork, and professionalism.

The internship program is currently only available in Northern California, we hope to expand the program in the future.

Internship applications will open March 11, 2019. Please check back then!

Who are the interns?

Youth on Course interns are qualified youth candidates between the ages of 14 and 18 and living in Northern California. They are all members of Youth on Course who are interviewed, selected, and then trained by the course. Interns are hired as employees of the course and Youth on Course subsidizes their wages.

What do the interns do?

Depending on the course’s needs, interns may work in outside services, food and beverage, in the pro shop, or gain experience across numerous departments. Internships are a great way to learn more about the golf industry, make important contacts and to grow as an individual.
