Youth on Course partners with golf courses to offer deserving high-school youth employment opportunities at no cost to the course. Here they learn valuable skills – like time management, customer service, teamwork, and professionalism.
Youth on Course interns are qualified youth candidates between the ages of 14 and 18. They are all members of Youth on Course who are interviewed, selected, and then trained by the course. Interns are hired as employees of the facility and Youth on Course subsidizes their wages.
YOC interns have the opportunity to work within multiple areas of the golf industry. During your Youth on Course internship, you will be mentored by professionals from golf associations, golf manufactures, and golf courses while gaining valuable work experience, making important contacts, and growing as an individual!
Based on the facility's needs, interns may work in Golf Shop, Outside Services, Food and Beverage, Membership, Course Maintenance, Tournament Operations, and Marketing and Social Media.
